Cherry Blossom 4.

60x90x2 cm / acrylic on canvas

In this evocative painting, sakura 桜 dance against a warm spring night sky, creating a scene full of joyful anticipation of the night. The relief technique adds a tactile quality to the flowers, inviting the viewer almost to smell the delicate petals and breathe in the atmosphere. The vibrant, joyful blooms blend harmoniously with the warm night sky, enhancing the serene beauty.

This artwork is unique in capturing time as a quality of the wabi-sabi aesthetic, fused with contemporary art.
Painted in low relief (bas-relief) using a special technique that looks almost like impasto. Sarah developed this technique of her own almost twenty years ago, at a time when hardly any painter worked this way.
