Flavour of Celestial Enigma I.

70x70x4 cm / acrylic on canvas, 2023

This colourful artwork with gold accents on a black background depicts some aspects of the secret mastery of manifestation as described in the Bible, various religions and even in the film The Matrix. Women, stars, squares and roses act as symbols and the impasto gives the piece movement, especially when walking around the painting, almost like a vibration of the universe. Let yourself be seduced by sensual texture, colour and anticipation.

Painted with a heavy impasto technique that creates a luxurious relief. Almost 20 years ago, Sarah developed two related relief techniques of her own, at a time when hardly any painter worked this way: a low relief and a sunken relief, the latter otherwise typical of the art of ancient Egypt.
