Flower Of Life I.
100x100x3 cm / mixed media on canvas, 2016
This painting is part of my "Symbols of Sacred Geometry" collection. The paintings in this series are inspired by the universe and by the expressive yet focused energy of paint and its flow, with a precisely chosen symbol at the centre. The symbol of the Flower of Life contains the patterns of creation and can be found in many religions and ancient cultures. It is still a mystery how the same pattern appeared in different parts of the world, in temples and manuscripts.
It has reappeared in art throughout history and is believed to have the power to reveal the nature of space and time to the viewer. It is also said to deepen meditation. It has been found in China, Japan, India, Tibet, Egypt, Israel, Turkey, Greece, Italy, Spain, England, Mexico, Peru and many other countries.
