This golden painting with a patina belongs to the Genesis collection, which symbolises new beginnings and infinite abundance. It depicts the seventh day of Creation, the day on which God rested.

At its heart is the Fibonacci spiral, the sacred geometric form known as the golden spiral. Sacred geometry describes the universal patterns woven into the design of our reality and the connection between the microcosm and the macrocosm. With their radiant warmth, these paintings bring the luminous presence of the sun or a fireside into any room.

The artwork is created in sunken relief, a technique typical of ancient Egyptian art that Sarah adapted into her own process nearly 20 years ago, combined with a richly textured impasto.

This artwork belongs to a limited edition of only 25 pieces in this size. Each painting is individually created by hand, making every artwork a unique original. Several pieces can be hung together as a multi-panel composition.
