No Compromises - the Big Golden Rose I.

100x100x3 cm / mixed media on canvas, 2014

As a great lover of nature, I am drawn to flowers and trees, a traditional subject in art. Like my other artworks, they are painted using my own structured relief technique. I perceive the flowers as symbols. Each flower represents a certain type of energy. The colours are inspired by the scent of the flowers. "Flowers in their natural and also in their stylised form have always been accompanied by a certain magical power." Viktor Palivec, Heraldic Symbolism
